We believe that education is perhaps the single most powerful tool in improving the lives and bringing about equality of opportunity for millions of people in societies throughout the world. As part of HSBC's Global Education Programme we have worked closely with Teach First since 2003. Since then, its impact on teaching and learning in the UK has been substantial, and we are now delighted to be working with Teach For All as it strives to reduce educational disadvantage in other parts of the world. In particular, we look forward to seeing standards raised through the development of the Global Maths Fellowship. This network of teachers will exchange ideas and resources, and challenge practices."
