Renkuosi Mokyti!

Artur Markevič has a degree in Public Health Sciences (Vilnius University) and a MA in Inclusive Education (Vytautas Magnus University). He also studied Bioethics at the University of Warsaw. After these studies, he became a fellow of "Renkuosi mokyti!" (Teach First Lithuania) (2018) and worked as a teacher of ethics in a school for students with special education needs (SEN).

After completing his two-year fellowship, he joined "Renkuosi mokyti!" team. He worked as a Fellows Coordinator, then later as a Coordinator of School Change Projects (working with school communities), and has been the CEO since 2022.

Artur still works as a teacher. In 2020, he was awarded the Meilė Lukšienė Prize for promoting democratic and humanistic values in education. It is one of the most prestigious national awards in Lithuania.

Artur is interested in Inclusive Education policy and practice and explores Universal Design for Learning approach. He lectures at the university, and consults teachers and school communities on inclusion in education and on working with students with SEN.
